Alfridomsa receives recertification from CUSTOMS as Authorized Economic Operator
Santo Domingo. - Almacenes y Frigoríficos Dominicanos, S.A. (ALFRIDOMSA), received the recertification as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), a certification that it has held since 2016, an important step in supporting the operations carried out by the entity since its inception under a high level of commitment to work closely together with the customs authorities.
The AEO Certification issued by the General Directorate of Customs (DGA), in compliance with the international standards established by the World Customs Organization (WCO), allows ALFRIDOMSA and the companies that possess it, to benefit from the simplification of procedures, express clearance and 24-hour service in ports. Likewise, the AEO Certification grants the exclusive use of the “AEO lanes” and personalized attention by the personnel of the Customs Directorate, seven days a week.
With this recertification, ALFRIDOMSA renews its commitment in the application of good practices, compliance with security standards, offering greater facilities to its business associates (clients), generating trust and credibility in its services in the international merchandise supply chain.
